I am the initiated disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, who brought the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita and other important Vedic yoga texts to the western world, along with the practice of mantra meditation – the chanting of sacred transcendental sounds.
Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda is my siksha guru, my instructing spiritual master. He has taken care of me for many years, helping me with his wisdom and loving kindness. They are both great acharyas, spiritual teachers coming in the disciplic line from Vyasadeva, the author of the Vedic scriptures, and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who inaugurated the practice of kirtan – the congregational singing of sacred mantras – which is gradually spreading throughout the world.
I am not spiritually advanced, and I am certainly not qualified to act as a spiritual master. However, I have been given the most wonderful gift of spiritual knowledge by two great enlightened spiritual masters, and it is my duty and pleasure to pass on a few of the things they have taught me. I hope this effort is pleasing to them. Thank you for taking the time to read these essays.
Gratitude and thanks to Bryan for proofreading and suggestions, and Amit and Nitai for their technical support.
Please note:
Although I am a siksa disciple of Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda, this site is all my own work, and I am solely responsible for its content.
